How can I revert to earlier versions of photos stored on your computer after making changes?
I edited a picture, renamed and saved. Unfortunately, I clicked on the box to save changes when closing the program, which then changed the original photo. I've done in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Does anyone know how to restore the original image (a collection Three photos on one page. I want all three, not only what I cut)? I feel I must be a way to do it. After all, clicking Properties tells me the original file was put there at such and such time, and now published. Please, Help me if you have any guesses or advice. I have my photos back!
urrrrgh. It is highly unlikely that you can find the original photo outside the hard drive if you have registered. As I guess you just learn, you always want * * save a copy of the original * Name * Then edit the copy. These types of errors can be very painful, as you will not forget next time to do the next time. Places to try Observers: Go to Start> Run and type% temp%. "You can get lucky and find a copy of the original here (like how to open the file). Do you have a backup anywhere on your hard drive have a copy? (Lesson # 2 if not – always back stuff up). Did you mail your photo or email to anyone. It could be floating in an annex to his book out or your box which can be retrieved. Do you have access to the original file in any format (digital, slides, negatives, prints?) Can be used for recharge in the PC? I hope someone can prove me wrong with that, it hurts to lose things.
